The Comics Corner

DC is currently in the beginning of developing their “Absolute Universe” and it's one of the most amazing and unique things DC has done in awhile. It’s similar to Marvel’s “Ultimate Universe” where they re-work origin stories of the main heroes and assumingely every character with connections to them as well. And guess who’s all behind this? Darkseid. Here’s a quick explanation of what they’re doing and how they’re doing it.
So here’s what went down with Darkseid and the Absolute Universe. Darkseid built this insane machine called the Miracle Machine, which can make any wish come true. He used it to merge with the Spectre, the physical embodiment of God’s wrath, which gave him godlike powers. With his new abilities, he found this special world called Alpha World—a key piece of the multiverse—and reshaped it completely into what’s now called the Absolute Universe.
But here’s the thing: in this twisted version of reality, Darkseid has reimagined iconic heroes like Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman to fit his dark, nightmarish vision. Wonder Woman’s even been turned into a literal daughter of Hell. And, of course, Darkseid isn’t just doing this for fun—he’s planning to use this universe as his base to take over Earth Prime and everything else in the DC multiverse. Things are about to get crazy for the Justice League!

Effectively Communicating with current and past clients could be a good way to keep consistent business(money) coming in.

We recently came across a video, "The Secret to Growing Income Without Finding New Clients " and it introduces the Realignment Strategy, basically a method designed to help business owners maximize revenue by leveraging their existing network instead of constantly searching for new clients. Which is always an obstacle when starting and maintaining a business. Matt Essam shares actionable insights to help professionals extend client relationships, uncover untapped opportunities, and position themselves as indispensable partners. If you don’t want to watch the video yourself, here are some key takeaways with our added thoughts:
Utilize the Realignment Strategy to maintain alignment with client goals and keep projects relevant.

Acknowledge the importance of regular feedback to turn one-time projects into long-term retainers.
Don’t be afraid to ask for regular feedback, build a trusting and lasting business relationship through great communication.
Incorporating the Realignment Strategy into your business approach can be a game-changer for maintaining steady growth and strong client relationships. Words to Live By
“It’s better to do less than you hoped than nothing at all.”
This quote stuck with us this week because we believe it’s one of the most important mindsets that ensures a fruitful and joyful life. Far too often people are afraid to take that leap of faith, fearing an outcome they’ve made up in their head. Staying complacent puts more fear in our hearts than taking a chance at pursuing our highest aspirations.
Music Spotlight
This week’s song comes from one of our creatives, they’ve been watching documentaries on Yacht Rock, a genre of soft rock that has influences of soul and jazz. Sounds exactly like the vibe we could all use at times.
Song of the Week: Takin’ it to the Streets by The Doobie Brothers & James Taylor
Weekly Highlight
It’s that time of year where we find out what kind of music taste all of our friends and instagram followers have, and I think it’s the best thing! You might have a friend who claims that no one care’s about all of our listening habits but that’s because they suck! Kidding, a little bit.
We for one find it very exciting to see all the different artists, songs, and genre that occupy our mutuals headphones and speakers. Music speaks to the heart and soul, sometimes it remains at a surface level connecting to our everyday lives. But what really makes music special is when it digs deeper, connecting to our inner most ambitions and fears.
Our love for creativity extends beyond the boundary of comics, and music's ability to form bonds and connections is something we can’t help but highlight.
